Hello.

I have a 15" mbp running with Lion. As Im about to replace de thermal paste and upgrade the ram, I was wondering if it would be better to fresh install Lion again or go Mtn Lion all the way.

Ive read some topics about mtn lion and most of them show mixed opinions regarding specifically the battery life.

Some say it got better, others, the opposite. It seems to depend on the models maybe?

Well what do you think? Does the advantages of mtn lion (like speed) are worth the possible loss in battery time?

Either Snow Leopard or Mountain Lion. I can't think of a good reason to stay on Lion.

Afaik battery life isn't really worse than Lion both are probably not quite SL quality.

Skip Lion altogether.

If you need iCloud, go to ML.

If you don't need iCloud, stay on SL. I have a new MBP with ML, and I immediately looked into downgrading to SL (not remotely possible.)

I can't think of a single good reason to go to ML, besides iCloud.
