As someone that will soon be getting a 15" non-retina MacBook Pro I was wondering if Apple carries the MacBook Pros with high res screens in store or if you can only get this upgrade online. Thanks for your help!

Some stores may carry them in stock, and some may not. It's best to call your local store to find out what they carry. No one in the forum can answer that. Even if a local store usually carries them, they could be out of stock.
