15" retina really slow on nike

Hi, everytime i go on nike, safari's memory just jumps up to 1.6gb from the usual 600mb. Is this normal? And then kernal task jumps to 1.5 gb. But my memory pressure is at 16%

Some websites are awfully coded and eat up a lot of resources.

It just started happening today. I am going to restart my mac to see if it fixes the problem

restart didn't help, this is really unusual for this to happen. Last week i bought some gear from nike and it worked without any lag
