15" RMBP Input "Hangs" (Completely Freezes) For 3-5 Seconds

While I have been categorically pleased with my new RMBP, once every 2 days or so the entire input will completely lock up for about 3-5 seconds. Certainly not a huge problem but very odd.

It is not a "stutter" in the animation or dropped frames but applies only to the mouse/cursor/keyboard. Not a RAM problem it seems or a CPU load problem as far as I can tell... I have seen this occur under all variations of usage.

Anyone had similar experiences? Known issue?

Seems like a CPU "lockup", it might have a 100% load on one process.

I haven't seen this on my 2012 Mini but it happens on my old Powerbook when I close Apple Remote Desktop (to control the Mini), it freezes for about 10 seconds.

I got this a while ago - an SMC and PRAM reset fixed it.
