Can a rMBP run WoW MoP on maximum settings ( native resolution ) under OS X? My 2010 MBP can get a little bit choppy in extremely populated area's.

If your biggest concern is gaming you shouldn't be looking at a Mac.

The current limition of the 2010 MBP is WoW MoP. For everything else it's fast enough. Hence why I'm considering a new MBP if the latest MBP can run it at maximum settings without lag in OS X.

I don't need a new MBP for anything else as this 2010 MBP is good enough.

edit: I'm not looking for a gaming machine. I just happen to run some games on it.

it cant run at maximum, it works good at medium setting and a bit lower resolution setting the resolution around 1900 is what i use

the GPU in the 15" rMBP (any build) dominates the 2010 handily. I went from the 2010 which was 'okay' to ultra settings native, and when I say native I mean: 2880x1800.

it really is that good. I've owned powerbooks/mbp's since the beginning, and this is the first real GPU they've ever put into a notebook/laptop. It's not crippled, it's not under clocked (it's clocked very high), it isn't your typical gutted mobile GPU that Apple seems to like putting in their devices.

Native resolution? No. 1680x1050 more likely if you are looking for max settings or 1920x1200 at medium settings.

Or go Windows for at least 30% performance boost.
