I chose the 17" "anti-glare"/matte, so that's where my preferences are. What is right for you is an individual matter, based upon variables such as what you do with your computer, where you use it, how much you can afford, how large you are, and what your vision is like. It's hard to make a meaningful suggestion for you, without more information.
