If you look through the first 3 or 4 pages there are probably 10 to 15 threads on this. Its a bit more powerful than the 2015 but nothing to write home about.

Take more effort to find information from the forums before getting others to find them for you.
I'm sorry? I started this thread specifically to gain opinion on the base 15 inch TBMP given its limited coverage on here and I'm yet to see any discussion of the same in the links provided. So please do sit back down and contribute or simply choose not to read the thread :)

There are a few posts here about the base 15", but they're spread out in several threads among a sea of posts about the 13" and maxed-out 15", which seem to be the configurations people have been able to get this early. Here are some links to reviews I bookmarked that discuss the base 15" if you want to look at those.

Thank you very much for these.

Slight concern that Macworld state that the 15 inch is beaten in the multi core test by the equivalent 2015 model. No discussion of SSD speeds which is a bit of an omission in the reviews...

You're not getting many replies because your question is too vague. What other computer do you want to compare the base 15" too? What type of usage do you want to compare? Remember, benchmark tests do not tell the whole story.

If you want better answers, you'll need to clarify your question better.
