Somewhat radical idea, but I'm wondering if there exists a mod out there of any kind that can swap the touchbar with the normal set of function keys?
I'm actually quite fine with all the other changes - TB3/USB-C/butterfly keys etc, but I tried the keyboard in store and am singularly unimpressed by the touchbar. A complete lack of haptic feedback and no obvious ESC key irk me a lot. I would have been very happy with just the Touch ID sensor.
It's unfortunate the non-touchbar option only exists for the 13" model
