I thought since there is a lot of discussion among members whether to go 13" or 15" Pro and many users who are coming from a MacBook Air. In the Image comparison 13” v 15” thread I made and posted a pic showing the difference in the size of the screens using a wallpaper image. It is at full resolution, full size for the 15" with a black box showing the smaller 13" screen (15.4 v 13.3).
As to the footprint of the machines, I compared a 2018 15" Pro v prior case, a 2015 15" Pro and then against the 13" Air I am coming from as are many as well as the 2018 13" Pro. My Air from 2012 has the exact same dimensions as the current Air. They have not reduced the bezels or the footprint, while the 2016-2018 Pros are smaller than the 2015 and earlier.
2018 15" Pro is 13.75" W 9.48" D .61" H
2015 15" Pro is 14.13" W 9.73" D .71" H
all 13" MBA are 12.80" W 8.94" D .68" H (thickest point)
2018 13" Pro is 11.97" W 8.36" D .59" H
