15" vs 17"

Anyone here had both?

I like the resolution and specs of the 17 but am concerned about the size. I have heard many say that it is too large to really be portable.

I feel the 15' is the sweet spot, but I have to BTO for the upgraded resolution.

Any thoughts, suggestions?
