Every iOS API change represents the potential for exciting new features in a 3rd party app. I'd love to hear from developers (or people who've spoken to developers) about as many of those new capabilities as possible.

Here some specific examples I've been wondering about:

Any improvement in data sharing across apps from different developers, such as a shared data folder? Any other improvement in communications between apps from different developers?

Any APIs extending the access to sms (beyond adding iMessage integration) and Mail? eg, can an app send a text message (or an email) to a recipient, using the users existing account, without the need to launch Apple's messaging (or mail) app? Do the APIs allow an app to know who sent the user his most recent incoming sms or iMessage?

Any APIs allowing apps to modify and save the user's actual itunes playlists?

Any APIs allow an app to modify the users keyboard across the board? (I know, I'm dreaming on this one :))

Any APIs allow a music app to display track info and album art via bluetooth audio, or to ensure that the last music app played will be the one that begins by default whenever bluetooth audio is initiated?

ANYTHING you know the new APIs about would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Pete
