Just wanting an opinion on the following:
I am debating between a refurb 2011 Mac mini server with 2.0 i7, 256gb ssd and 750hdd combined with a refurb Thunderbolt Display
AND
A 2012 27" base imac (i5) with the 1tb fusion drive.
I do recording (music) and watch videos in HD primarily as well as light tasks.
I guess the debate is do I get last years i7 with SSD+HD or this year's i5 with fusion. The Mac mini+TBD (refurb) price out to about the same as the imac with fusion upgrade.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
