I don't usually post, but read the forums a lot. So when I do post, it's because I feel there's a great reason to. I experienced one of those reasons this week when I dealt with ProClip. I got a new car this past year, and one of the first things I did was order the ProClip mount for it. I had one in my last car, and it was the most solid mount I'd ever tried. After trying many, many mounts, I went ProClip and have never looked back.
Well, the mount for my new car, a 2012 Kia Rio, wasn't nearly as secure as the mount for my old car. Whenever I'd rotate the device from portrait to landscape, the mount would pop off. It's mounted in the seams around the vent, but doesn't block the vent because it's raised a few inches off the vent. The device mount is still fantastic though. So this week I decided to email them just to vent my frustrations with the vehicle mount, not expecting to hear back. Less than 24 hours later, however, I received an email (not a canned response, from an actual person) asking for some more detail about the problem I was having.
After exchanging a few more emails, they notified me they'd make an adjustment to one of the vehicle mounts they had there, and mail it out to me to see if it worked better. Two days later, I have the new vehicle mount at my door, and it is a world of difference. They adjusted it to put more pressure in the seams, and it is as rock solid as can be. Fantastic customer service. It's rare these days to get a personalized response from an actual person, especially when I wasn't even asking for a reply, or any resolution. I just can't say enough how happy I am with ProClip.
