I just purchased a Retina MacBook Pro 15" today. Want to know how I did. It's mint condition, 2.3GHz, 256gb SSD, 16gb RAM. Charger, laptop, clear Speck case. What do you think I could sell it for, if I did?

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

I would say....

$2100-2200. AppleCare, good care of the machine and no cosmetic/functional issues can help in the price.

If you sell through an online site factor in shipping costs/fees

More than $1500 🙂

More than $1500 🙂

All relative to Original Bill of Sale/ Proof of Purchase.. Necessary for Applecare for future owners.. and of course Boxes and Documentation, etc..

All will be necessary to get 'the good price' for it, and to prove to someone it is not stolen, of course!! 😀

Just curious, why sell it. It's a great machine and a more than fair desktop replacement.

I was thinking two options. See what people offer to see what I'd be able to sell it for in the future.
Sell now, make a $500 profit (if I get $2000) then buy the next generation in July for less.
