New iBook owner/transfer bookmarks and addresses?

I just got a new iBook, my very first Mac. Is there any easy way to transfer my IE bookmarks and addresses from my email address book into the laptop? I hope there is some way to make it an easy exchange of data. Any thoughts on Safari VS Internet Explorer or Mozilla?

I'd appreciate any help or resources you can direct me to.

A quick fix would be to save the IE favorites as a HTML page and added it to Safari's Bookmark menu.

And done (read: dump) with IE as it sucks

Assuming you were using Outlook Express, here the instructions to transfer your email address to Mail.
