iPhone 4s 5.0.1 unactivated UPDATE to 6.1.2

HI,
can someone help me update my iphone 4s from 5.0.1 to 6.1.2 so i can jailbreak it???
It is unactivated as i cant find which network its locked to,redsnow when i query for signed shsh comes up empty an so deos tinyumbrella?

You cannot update to 6.1.2 anymore.

Doesn't it tell you what network it's on in the settings about phone?

Ehhhh not if it is not activated and cannnot access the phone, besides that if it is the wrong carrier for the SIM, it won't show anything in settings.

Google on bypass activation 5.01

You can temp bypass it and than jailbreak with redsn0w or absinthe on 5.0.1. But you can only upgrade to 6.1.3.

If the original network is not what you use than you can only unlock through the carrier or an online IMEI unlock from the grey market.

How do you temp bypass because i tried the dial 911 way an it still didnt work?i dont want to update to 6.1.3 cos then i cant jailbreak or unlock it

There is currently no way to update to 6.1.2 even with valid shsh blobs for the 4S and 5
