Ya, thought the "official" thang was a bit much, but hey what happened?

Is there anyone left? Is this heaven?😛
 
I think it was me.

I clicked on "save sig" RIGHT as I added my PayPal please send me to vienna, I promise to leave and never come back link, and got the " you lose!" message.

i was wondering what was going on, i was having withdrawl with two of my favorite things gone from me!

Got the same message.

Just means that the hamsters weren't able to run fast enough to power the server.
 
That is the exact message that I got to. Wonder what happened? The several hours that it was down made my work day go by much slower. I have never seen the forums down for that long.

I even IMmed Arn, but he was away. Hee. I noticed that all the other MR tabs were working; front page, page 2, buyer's guide, and shop... hmm.

someone just screwed up doing a little edit of some source files. nothing major at all, just doing some modifications and forgetting to delete or add in one thing

Hey, the Astros were doing really well while MR was down.. when it came back up, we started to get PWNed.

I was freaking out especially since i got my new ipod today after being stuck in classes and work i return home hoping to fill it with videos and stuff only to find the one link i had not working and ilounge.com being inadequate. Now off to figure out why this new video encoding is such a damn hassle to figure out!!!!!
 
Yeah, I freaked when I saw it too. I actually submitted a "news" item that the forums were down. I felt like a moron for doing it, but I (probably mistakenly) thought it might have been seen if the mods didn't realize they were down.
 
Man, I miss all the fun. Stupid real life getting in the way of the forums. Didn't even notice they were gone. Guess it's better that way, withdrawal symptoms don't kick in if you don't realize your fix is gone.
