So, I'm thinking 802.11ac is going to drive a slew of product releases that depend on WiFi (airport extreme, time capsule, appleTV, MacBooks, iPhones, IPods, .....).

Any new rumors on that front (e.g. product release coming soon)?

I know 802.11ac won't be finalized until early 2014, but given various routers are starting to come out, I assume the hardware is defined well enough that any new devices will be able to get updated via firmware. Is that a valid assumption? Or, do you think Apple will hold off?

There are signs of AC on the 10.8.4 betas, so I think you are correct the hardware can't be far away.

Apple released 802.1n devices on the draft spec, so I don't see why they would not do the same with AC.

Thats' what I was thinking, I saw the osx beta rumors having AC. Just thinking an Airport line has to be very close behind or actually being release prior to the MacBooks. But, found no rumors about Airport line, guess the peripherals don't get as much hype.
