Neucase they are based out of california, but they do service tickets so you mail your phone to them and they swap it out, and give you an email time frame. So you are always in the know of what they are doing. It's usually around a 2-4 day turnaround depending on how many customers they have.

Am not aware there is been special R(ED) edition iPhones so I say Apple won't touch anything that's been user's customized.
