Official White/Black iPod Debate

This isn't like all the other debates about whether you should get a white or black iPod, because this debate is MINE! Well, debate your heads off.

The thread starter is strange. Anyways, I choose the black one because it is darker and easier to see the screen.

After thinking about it, I kind of regret buying the black nano. that poor thing is so beat up it's ridiculous, and that's from normal use, and just being in my backpack.... That's why I bought a white video iPod, a couple of minor scratches... But not nearly as noticable as the Black iPod.

I'm debating whether or not to send it into to Colorware and have it painted. They claim to have the scratch resistant coating for the new iPod w/ Video.

We shall see.

But overall I'd say stick w/ the White.

I have to agree with Grapes on this topic, as we have quite a bit of threads like this on the forum.

However I am guilty of similar crimes in the past as well

I would get white for several reasons...

• White hides scratches better than black
• White would match my iMac G5 better than black
• White is the "origonal" iPod color, therefore others will recognize it as a true iPod easier

It would have to be black! Black is the new white. In fact, my favorite iPod to date is actually the black and red U2 iPod. If only I was a U2 fan, I could've justified buying that iPod. Right now though, if anyone wanted to GIVE me an iPod, I would be happy to take anything since I'm a poor college student. But given the choice, I would choose black.

Blacks are not that pretty, well... they are pretty ugly (yes I've seen on ein person). But U2 special edition is another pair of shoes - they are awesome!

BTW on black you can clearly see scratches and stuff
