So after 1 month with the new 15pro I wanted to give a mini review. I upgraded from the 13pro and I have to say the 15pro is everything I wanted. My 2 biggest complaints with the 13pro were the weight and the over-processing of photos. I’m happy to report both of those issues have been fixed.
I was a yearly upgrader from the iPhone 3G to the 13pro, last year was the first time I sat out a release simply due to the fact my 2 major issues with the 13pro were not fixed with the 14pro. For me, this is the happiest I’ve been with an upgrade since the X. The X was obviously a huge upgrade with a new form, oled screen and Face ID. I honestly don’t remember what the Xs had. The 11pro added night mode which was a nice upgrade for the camera. Then I went to the 12mini as I didn’t want to go up in screen size and the 12pro really didn’t offer much over the 12. The 12 mini was always a little too small for me but I did enjoy the weight and the one handed use. The battery was its downfall. I then moved to the 13pro which had the amazing screen due to promotion. The drawbacks were obviously the increased weight and the overblown HDR that you couldn’t turn off. The camera felt like a bit of a step backwards. Now with the 15pro I can say it was a total upgrade over the 13pro. I have found 0 drawbacks which I couldn’t say about my last few iPhones. The 15pro feels way better than the 13pro in hand and it’s much easier to use one handed for extended periods due to the weight/weight distribution. The battery is a slight upgrade from my 13pro. The camera has been phenomenal! I had some friends over sat night and we took pictures of our kids in pumpkins and I couldn’t believe how great they turned out. I had a family member ask if we hired a photographer for them. I am able to airplay them to our 65” and it still looks extremely sharp.
So I just wanted to give my thoughts on the new phone. I know there have been a lot of negative threads on the new pros just like every new release but I am loving the 15pro. The only time my phone has gotten warm was while we were taking the pumpkin pictures (we took almost 200 pics in a very short time) but it wasn’t any warmer than I have felt my previous iPhones get.

I have a 15 pro max, honestly don’t feel it’s that much of a jump over the 13 pro. In fact macro mode on 13 pro imho is still better than 14/15 pros. 15 pro max battery has been underwhelming as well.

Unless you’re in a MagSafe environment or need 120hz and aod, not much different between the 11 pro and 15 pro experience. Apples phones have been very good for years and it shows in their longevity

My 2 cents
