15x iPhone 5s MACRO Pictures!

Got my new 15x Macro lens today. Thought I'd post some pictures I came up with as they're pretty freaking awesome. Also got some epic 720p macro slo motion videos of bugs and stuff moving around. It's like the movie A Bug's Life with slow motion. So amazing.

Um, were these taken with a camera? Some cameras come with super-macro mode, you can get really up close and produce huge images.

Yeah that is pretty good for just a little magnifier.

Now, if you like doing this type of photography, upgrade to a proper camera that has macro and super macro mode. You'll be amazed.
 
You may have just ignited an old flame of mine PHOTOGRAPHY!! I really had no idea that my iphone was capable of pictures on this scale,I had looked at some lenses but only on ebay and was wondering about the quality and if they even worked.Are the amazon ones the ExACT ones that you purchased? Good price too

Haha, good! Yes exact same product I had linked above. I ordered on Wednesday, and prime got it to me on Friday. Really stunned by the quality. I'm looking at everything in my house macro-minded :D
 
Check out stereo microscopes. If you ever get the chance to look through a quality one with excellent lighting, prepare to have your mind blown when looking at bugs, flower parts, even some rocks.
 
Does the 5s flash still work ok with that lens for the 5?

Can't see them available in the uk unfortunately
 
Camera+ app lets you leave the flash on while you prepare your shot. This allows me to adjust the white balance and focus easily before snapping the photo.

nice details. thats the biggest difference between the i5 camera (still own) and the 5s at equal lighting. the 5s just has such finer details and more colors, some say they can't even tell i think it is obvious.

Impressive pictures...that camera is a very capable looking device indeed....sadly, I ordered Gold and will probably still be waiting when the 6 is released!:)
