Just updated today, no hiccups. But bever seen this before. Refused to charge beyond 85% ish…anyone else? I’ll try forced reboot/restart and try again. See what happens.

I have not charged since updating, I’m currently at 80%. But I can say that I have never noticed my iPad Pro to run hot. Using it right now it is very hot. I have force closed all the apps and will know more in a few hours after it cools down. Sure seems like the update is causing something to suck down the battery.

Please let us know how it charges, thanks

Seems to charge to 100% again without issue’s after a reboot.

But, now my iPad seems Lightning (haha) fast again and battery lasts much longer than before. I was hovering right below 5hr use @ around 65-70% brightness. Let’s see.

I had some heat issues back on a few of the 15.x updates, but that was during use. And it did seem to throttle sometimes. Almost like Low Power Mode had been engaged (it had not).

I’m going to do a backup to iCloud and factory reset when I feel it coming over me….

I've often seen that during summer (100+ F) even when the iPads are on standby/locked while charging. Now that it's winter time, not really.
