Is there any way i can use the older notification system ( iOS 16 up to 16.1.2) where notifications are hidden until i swipe up?

Seems like 16.2 has changed this.

You mean “Count” option?
It’s in Settings > Notifications

At least on iPhone 11 Pro on 16.2

I don’t think you can. This was changed in the Notification Center (swipe down) because hiding notifications there made no sense. It still works the way it used to on the Lock Screen.

No. I had the "List" option and notifications were hidden until i swiped up.

It’s ¼ fixed. Better, but still missing a pile of hidden notifications. What a stupid idea.
