iPhone 11 Pro 16:9 Photos not a big deal to anyone else?

I am pretty surprised by the lack of discussion I have seen about 16:9 finally being an aspect ratio we can select by default.

I personally am super excited about this! And honestly, I only found out about this being a thing when I got the phone today.

I think it is going to be awesome shooting 16:9 photos without having to go in and edit them to achieve that aspect ratio.

I prefer 4:3 since its the same as medium format. I know it's not a great aspect ratio for iPhone screens but on print or web galleries, its really something.

4:3 gives you the most from the sensor. You can always go back and crop it the way you want, but in 16:9 you can't restore what's missing.

Always use 4:3 when taking photos. When shooting 16:9, the aspect ratio might look good but it’s just cropping in on the subject. You can always crop to 16:9 yourself in the Photos app afterwards.
