16 gb mbp

I am looking into putting 16 GB RAM in to my MBP....will this really help me? or will i not notice a difference? I am looking into it because i am a bit bore want something different...

Are you maxing out the 8GB RAM currently? If no - then your answer is no.

After a day of common computer usage, open Activity Monitor and go to the System Memory* tab and look for Page Outs and Swap used and report back.

Or how should we know, if you can benefit from 16 GB RAM?

HA. Ram will not make your computer exciting again.

However I do have 16GB of ram in my system. I got a good deal on it. My machine has a 500GB SSD and 16GB and runs sooo good. But it wont stop you from getting bored.

Maybe bootcamp your computer and install Windows 8 which should at least frustrate you enough to kill the boredom. I have it on mine and when I get bored with OS X, I boot into Windows 8 and mess around with metro.... then come running back to OS X
