I have 16 GB of RAM in my MacBook Pro 13 (2012, i7 2.9 GHz.) It loses about 30% power over the course of a 10 hour sleep.

Does anyone know if the Mac keeps the RAM in a low-power state while it's in sleep? I can't think of any other reason why it would lose so much power, unless it's a battery problem. My battery is in good health, though.

Any ideas?

It has to keep the RAM powered otherwise it would lose its contents. My MBP loses about 25% per day when in sleep. Check your power settings and see if anything is set that might cause a power drain while in sleep.
