Hi guys, i am looking to switch from old 27 iMac to a new decked out 16 MacBook pro m1 max
It will give me flexibility to move around house / travel, but 90% of my use case will be stationary so i am looking to get 2x 27-30" monitor, mouse, + keyboard to go with it. The setup i am looking for is have MacBook closed, and use the 2x external monitor for work + gaming (native, parallel, and crossover gaming). Then unplug and take the MacBook with me as needed.
1) What monitor do you suggest that is best for this, i assume for gaming want 120 refresh rate but also needs to be sharp for work. Haven't been keeping up with all the latest tech, can someone recommend a brand/model that is reasonably priced (ie not apple monitor!)
2) What is the best way to set this up, plug both external monitor into 2x thunderbolt ports, bluetooth mouse + keyboard? Is there some dock that will allow me to take my MacBook to go easily, i guess unplugging 2 thunderbolt cable isn't a big deal.
