Hi everyone, I'm on Big Sur 11.5.1
I don't install any apps on my device (like .dmg installers), keep things vanilla - my device has the Radeon 5500M, but when the performance dips happen, the device is on integrated graphics - I do have development related brew stuff tho, like Docker installed, but I don't use it and it's not active
The Problem: When watching things on VLC, x264 videos to be specific, sometimes frames lag, playing the same scene doesn't produce the same issue, similarly, sometimes Chrome lags for a second or so
This is a liveable issue, but mildly annoying, since these devices do heat up a lot, it could be heat related, but I don't think so, as it happens when the device is cold too, the battery condition is "Good" as well
Decided to post here in case anyone has any ideas, as an example, Is there any way to even approach debugging this issue?
Regards,
Kaan
