I just picked up a 2019 16" Macbook Pro base model on eBay. The seller however lost the charger and is refunding me $90 to purchase a new one. After that I noticed they seem to be sold out everwhere including apple (wtf, thanks covid). Regardless, I'll either find a used OEM on ebay or I've seen some of these ones on Amazon that have extra USB ports for charger other devices. Can anyone recommend one to me or show me a place that has OEM in stock ready to ship.

extra credit: Are there any out there that are kinda like the new OEM iMac power adapter that can act as a hub? Essentially brick plugs into wall, but also has ethernet, hdmi, etc on it? Essentially a wall mountable/direct plug in portable docking station?

As you found out - they are in short/no supply. I’ve seen some new OEM chargers going for north of $700 on other forum sale sites. It’s the old adage: if you are the only one with the product every one wants, it’s a sellers market. That said, you don’t actually need the 90 watt charger under most circumstances.

The 2019 MBP will basically accept any USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charger. 30W or so should be enough for most light usage.

Typically I found that my MBP draws 5 - 15 W most of the time. If your MBP temporarily draws more it will use the batteries.

There are lots of good 3rd party charger. I use a 100 W Satechi with two USB-C connections and one USB-A.
