Detail.

I have a maxed out iMac 28" for my "real" work in FCPX and photoshop. I currently have a 13" 2011 macbook pro that's main use is watching netflix in bed, and occasionally running presentation software to a second screen with clients. While I do plan on having this laptop another 6-8 years, I truly don't see a scenario where I would ever be doing actual intensive stuff on it, that'll always be done on the much larger and more powerful desktop.

I'm likely just going to get the base model but with a 1tb hard drive, for someone who's hardest thing he'll make his laptop do is playing 4k video on an external tv while browsing reddit, is there really any need for any upgrades beyond this? Or is that just stuff that's going to matter if you're using it as a primary machine? Thank you!
