Like does it weigh down too much? I'm thinking about going running or going to gym and using it or having in pocket.

debating the move from a regular pro but I cant do something too large and unwieldy for being on the go all the time

Been on the pro max train for years, I really don’t notice its size at all, certainly not its weight. First few hours I noticed this one being a bit bigger but that too has faded. You’ll get use to it.

You can always take advantage of 14 days return from Apple to feel that yourself.
For me, it’s not that heavy especially when I carry My iPad plus keyboard case around all the time, with no pocket to put in lol. 1.075kg in total.

My new 16 Pro weighs about the same as my 14+.

Bit more compact which is what I wanted - 6.3" screen is perfect - even with large fonts & bold display settings.

Guaranteed you won’t be happy running with a 16PM in your pocket.
I have an older, much smaller 2nd iPhone I carry if I’m going to be active

the 12 pm 13 pm and 14 pm have all been way heavier then this. so how can this be too heavy lol

Been pocketing it for the last 4-5 hours since I got it, and I'm not sure why, but the 16PM feels better than the 14. The rounder edges makes it feel so much better naked.

You need a running belt to run with a Pro Max (but it's a drag). I have several Brooks running shorts that will fit a Pro in the back pocket (at the base of my back), but nothing that would fit a Pro Max. Running with a Pro is less of a drag. Having a small backup phone like a mini is ideal if you need to run with a phone.

Take a look at something like this –
