1600MHz Ram and OSX Lion...

Hi Guys,

I installed the Kingston 1600MHz ram when the 2011 MBP came out. It ran flawlessly on snow leopard.

Since installing Lion when it was released I have had regular crashes. Kernel panic, java problems etc.

I have reinstalled Lion and all my programs at the weekend but still get them.

Anyone else noticed this? The RAM is all I can think that could cause it and Lion doesn't like it.

I'm running the same set up as you are and I've got no problem with lion so far.

Try installing the original ram and see if lion runs without problems. If so it seems you may have gotten "bad" ram.

I am running the 1866 and its flawless.
