1600MHz Ram in Mac mini 2009..?

Hi.. new guy in town.. i heard macs are abit picky about ram.. can you use fast ram in these old mac minies..?
iam talking about corsair 4GB 1600mhz ram..

The 2009-2010 Nvidia chipset Macs are odd about their RAM. The LOWER stick needs to be a 1067MHz, but it’s not picky what the upper stick is.
