If you're getting a message stating "Could not activate cellular data network: You are not subscribed to a cellular data service" then you are not alone. I recently got off the phone with a Sprint tech who determined that i have iOS 7 beta and stated that many users are having a similar issue with the beta versions. He stated that it is not Apple's fault but something on their side. He said that the users who have called in about the issue will have it fixed in a couple hours max. He already called me back to check on my status and said would call again in an hour. So in the end Sprint's network baffles me…even though they are attempting to fix it. I'll let you guys know an update after I get a phone call from Sprint.

Note that I have already tried ##UPDATE# and Reset all network settings. So this will not help but won't help to try.

Edit: No surprise but Sprint said they will call me back tomorrow after following up with me.

Ended up getting my phone replaced. Very hesitant to go back to iOS 7 knowing that this might happen again. Can any other Sprint iOS 7 users for iPhone 5 input their feedback? Thanks.

If you got your phone replaced, that denotes a hardware problem. If that is the case, why blame iOS7?

Because a possible modem firmware update within iOS 7 could have corrupted the radio. Additionally because Sprint technicians were already aware of the issue of iOS 7 not playing well with 3G. How they thought they could fix it on their end? Beyond me. Unless I could downgrade to an older modem or such, 3G did not work anywhere for me right after updating to beta 2. Had no problem an hour before updating to beta 2 but immediately did after. Software is able to cause permanent damage, however less common with Apple products.

I keep cellular data off on betas

Why is that?

Sprint iPhone 5 problems

Upgraded to the first ios7 beta a couple of weeks ago on my sprint iPhone 5. Everything worked fine while I was using the beta. Downgraded it after a few days of use to 6.1.4. Ever since then I haven't had data, I can call and text just fine but no 3G data (and we don't have lte in our area). I've tried everything from ##update# to network restores, to full restores. No one at sprint could help me, not even their "engineers." So finally I had apple replace the iPhone since it was still under warranty, but we still had the same issue. So we had sprint replace the SIM card. And then tried the same round of trouble shooting as before. Someone even suggested I have sprint make sure my APN settings are correct, which I doubted had anything to do with it since it was a CDMA phone, but still asked sprint about it, and they said they did not use APN as I had suspected. All the other iPhones on my family plan work just fine except mine. Absolutely no one at sprint has been useful and most have been pretty rude. I've wasted almost a month now trying to resolve this issue. I'm going to try upgrading to the beta again and downgrading again to see if that help but I find that highly unlikely to work. Any suggestions as to a way I can get the data to work?

Sprint iPhone 5 problems

We have two phones running iOS 7 and have been having issues with data IF THERE IS NO LTE SIGNAL. When I pick up LTE everything runs great, if it drops down to 3G it starts off ok and then within seconds it drops to 1x and I cannot get any data, use iMessage, etc. Interestingly enough this started with Beta 2, not the initial release. I'm in South Florida.

I've recognized this to be an issue with beta 2. When I went straight to beta 3 no issues. I say have it replaced keep at iOS 6 or try your luck again with beta 4 when it is out.
