This is a deal:

used Macbook pro 15" anti-glare Mid 2012 version
2.5, i7, 16GB, 1TB storage
condition: like new
come with AppleCare (until June 2015)
80 battery cycles
Microsoft office 2011
iWork

for $1700

Should I get it?

If not, what spec I could get for $1700 with 15" antiglare?

The seller keeps pushing me to purchase today for this laptop. So I need to make my decision soon!

It's a good deal but why is the seller rushing you to buy now? That's a red flag.

Yeah! I know.. that's why I made him wait for 1-2 days.
He kept telling me that this model will be gone soon and he won't guarantee if it will be sell in the next 1-2 days.

Before, he offered me late 2011 version for $1700.
When I told him that I will get back maybe Friday, he changed his mind and offered me 2012 version for $1700 and buy it tonight.

if ur gonna spend 1700 on a macbook, u my as well buy new. get it with a student discount, with taxes prob 1800 and some odd dollars.

less hassle and this seller sounds, suspicious

Pass, this is beyond sketchy.

He was offering a 2011 for 1700 now magically a 2012?

Run

If using the student account.
I might get a new 8GB 500GB, 2.3, and antiglare for almost $1900 (including tax).

He's the ebay seller with 100% positive feedback.
I have sold many macbook pro though. So I'm not sure why he kept pushing me.

I feel like $1700 is a damn good deal for cMBP 15" 2012 antiglare with 3 years AppleCare + 1 year squaretrade.

But the pushy thing is scared me!

----------

I told him. He said it's the best deal and I won't get this price with this specs anywhere.

Tell the seller that you found other offer for less than 1700 and see if he can sell for lower then buy it right now. :apple:

You can get a refurbed from Apple for cheaper than that.

For 1700 you can get this refurb, you get a warrantied computer, I'd say this is a better deal imo
