Hi,

Can anyone help me as Apple were not at all helpful

I am looking to buy a new 160gb ipod classic.

I already have a Bose Sound dock and want to know if there is an adapter so they will fit together.

(I couldn't see that there was one in the Apple UK store - and the help line's advice was to take my sound dock into a shop where they sell ipods and ask to try it!)

Has anyone tried a 160gb with the Sound dock?

Ever hopeful that someone will know.

Thanks

You dont need an adapter, the sound dock has a dock connector port just like the classic.

Unless you're talking about those little plastic insets for making the iPod more comfy. In that case it should fit with any of teh other ones.

We just have the standard iPod insert in our SoundDock and both our nano's stand up perfectly and stay connected. I'd be very surprised if that was any different for the 6G classic.
