Good. This serves as a major blow to googlrola and samsung, both of which think it can sue apple and ban their products based on standard-essential patents.

This is excellent. Hopefully Apple gets similarly slapped down when they start waving patents around too.

These patents have caused nothing but needless litigation and this crap needs to stop.

Don't lump Google in with Samsung. In these cases Google and Samsung have nothing to do with each other. Samsung and Apple are the one battle in court not Google and Apple.
