App Store down?

Is the app store down? I can't download apps / updates on my iPhone or iPad. Tried wifi and cellular still nothing. It keeps giving me a "cannot connect to iTunes error. "

EDIT: I am unable to install apps on my MacBook Pro also.

Is this happening to anyone else?

It's up. I just updated apps and bought a new one.

Nope, both are down for me too. There a some people experiencing the same problem over on the Apple Community forums within the last hour.

Just got off the phone with them. The guy said their support tool was down. He advised me to call back in an hour. Uh oh App Store is on the fritz.
