Hello - has anyone seen new benchmarks of the late 2013 iMac? I would like to see how PCIE SSD and the new GPU/CPUs make on the system compared to last years model. I have searched around but have found anything yet...

I don't think anyone, including review sites, have received anything but stock configurations. ArsTechnica has a review of the entry level 21-inch, and CNET has a review of the top level baseline 27-inch. I don't think either of those will give you what you want.

And make sure you know what processor and disk configuration each benchmark was based on. I saw some misleading benchmarks because they were comparing a 2012 i7 with a 2013 i5 doing video compression. They would've had to compare i7 to i7 to be fair.

Yeah I'd like to know if the ssd is on par with the MBA ssd, or if it's even faster like the new Mac Pro ssd is going to be.

Late 2013 iMac

I ordered my iMac 27" with the older parts on Sept 22 but Apple sent me an e-mail stating that I would be getting the latest iMac. This is my first Apple computer and I think I love Apple. As for the read and write performance...both are in the 700-720 range. Below is my config...
iMac 27"
Intel i7 3.5Ghz-3.9Ghz
Nvidia 780M 4GB Card
512GB SSD PCIe
8GB Ram...ordered extra 16GB today

Barefeats published a couple tests today here and here.

Kinda miserable. The MBA ssd 512 gets almost 800 read and like 750 write.

Using Blackmagic to benchmark it? I haven't looked extensively, but everything I saw online looked pretty similar to what I'm getting.

If you really are getting speeds, you really should be happy. Some MBAs were reportedly getting in the 300-400 range.

Benchmark

This is mine on a fusion drive with the 27" top model. no other upgrades.

Those writes are curiously low… They should be straight from the SSD which should be no different from the 512GB SSD.

This is mine

For Geekbench scores, refer my 21.5" here: http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/191168

Some 21.5" Haswell iMacs are identified as iMac14,3 , although Apple officially designates them as iMac14,1. I was one of the few who got the iMac14,3 variant.

I just received my late 2013 iMac 27".
It's a beast! I'm playing Bioshock Infinite on high at 1440p. Not sure about fps... But it runs without problems.

That's my geekbench 3 result:

Right now my imac has 8gb ram original from apple. But In a few days I'll be able to post another benchmark with my new memory modules: G.Skill Ripjaws 16gb 1886Mhz CL10

If anyone knows another good way to test my machine, just let me know so I can try and post results later.
