Don't know if this has been discussed but my locking sound has a hiss at the end, about a 5 second hiss. nothing that you can hear only if the speaker is by your ear. it's like the speaker is still on but no noise coming from it.

wondering if anyone else has this too or if it's isolated? I'll be letting apple know in their feedback section. of course don't blow your ear drums people.

I hear it too, very subtle. I only hear it though the speaker, not through my headphones. I think maybe since they've added an echo to the lock sound, they extended the entire sound file to ensure that the echo would fit and fade well, so the hiss sound can still be heard. But, I have no real clue.

that was my thought about the longer locking sound.

When your iPhone is on, the hissing sound will always be there.

After locking it, the hissing sound stays until the iPhone is fully in sleep mode.
