am i correct in saying that the PCIe SSD in the new rMBP is upgradable? if so, how much are the third party SSD's currently going for? thinking of getting the base 128GB now to save money and just upgrade later when needed. been using cloud services more anyway.

Even if OWC is working on an upgrade I waited over one year for an upgrade on the rMBP SSD. There is no. OWC offers an expensive 480GB (I have a 512 built in) and the only alternatives are used ones from ifixit.com or so which are at least genuine but also expensive.

Don't expect anything cheap to upgrade your SSD ever on a thin MacBook. Max it out or live with the space you have.
