Any benchmarks comparing the graphic capabilites of the 2.4 vs 2.6 i5 in 13"?

I know that they have different clock frequencies, but, realisticly, how much of an improvement is 100mhz?


EDIT: We have recieveid some benchmarks from some very generous users. Please feel free to post yours if you have any 13" model.

My brother's ready to go for 2.6 / 8GB /256GB, but I want to make sure that it's worth the extra $100.

With the three tests commac used, I've got 248.55.

Used on Best for Retina.
Apps running in background.
Menu bar items such as Google Drive are active.

I'll organize these results in the first post. If anyone else wants to post their configurations and results, we can make a database of sorts.

Ill post the individual numbers when I get home tonight if no else with a 2.4 does.

The number jumps look significant but its hard to tell if they make any real world differences.

I know that running the tests in low DPI almost doubles the numbers and low DPI eliminates any mission control lag or scrolling lag that can appear under heavier loads. Wonder if the higher clock can help with UI frames rates.

Cool, thanks ;) Make sure you use the "Best for retina" setting.

Also, it seems like the OpenGL test is the best comparison of strictly the Intel Iris 5100.
 
i've owned the 2.4/8/256 when i first bought the haswell rmbp.. but due to issues.. exchanged it and apple gave me the bump to the 2.6/8/512 for about the same price. my only benchmark comparison between the two was tomb raider's built in.. and from my results (3 tests each).. there was about a 5fps difference. i know this doesn't help much, since there will be variances in each test runs and with user settings.. but from my own experience.. the jump to 2.6 did give me a slight fps increase.

Very impressive user interface score compared to mine.
Do you experience any of the UI stutter people are reporting for example when scrolling or using mission control with many windows open?


When I take my 13" out of HiDPI I get

And the UI is buttery. The only score really different from the i7s retina equivalent is the Quartz Graphics test. If the i7 beats the stutter ill exchange in an instant.

iTunes scrolling isn't all that smooth, and huge webpages like the Verge stutter a little bit. I've never seen any UI stutter in mission control. Otherwise things are pretty smooth.
 
First of all, thanks to all of you who posted their test results in this thread. This is really helpful and I have been searching for this for some time now.

I would be interested if anyone here has tried using an additional external display and experienced any increase in stutter.

I am about to order a MacBook Pro 13 inch or 15 inch, depending on the performance I see for the 13 inch. I would actually prefer the smaller size of the 13 inch over the size of the 15 inch.
