ATi Avivo Video Convertor converts videos for iPod, PSP and some other devices
It is extremely fast (less than 20 second to convert a 5 min lenght video to H.264 format), and support Windows Media Video and other formats which are not supported by Quicktime.
It was the christmas gift to ATi x1k series video cards users (this programme refuse to start unless you use a ATi x1k series video card)
but someone modified this programme and makes it compatible to ANY video card
