I just noticed my status has been changed from "processing" to "preparing for shipment".

It would nice to have it this week..
 
Stock.


Apple just charged my credit card. It would be nice if they upgrade to overnight shipping. It's only from Texas not China

Preparing for shipment

Just wanted to mention that my order has changed from "Processing" to "preparing for shipment." I ordered the stock $4k nMP (6-core, d500, 256, 16gb).

I know this may not be news, but it's at least a little but of progress. As an aside, I ordered mine at 3am on launch day.

May be helpful to post your config so we can see which ones they're shipping and which ones are delayed forever.

Mine changed too. Stock $4k machine nMP. It would be nice if it shipped overnight today and arrived in time for Christmas; I'm definitely not holding my breath for that though.
 
I'm hoping to be one of the "coal mine canaries" for the BTO models beginning to show movement. I got my order in within 5 minutes of the site going live.

Stock setup. Ordered about 15 min after they went on sale.

Got a UPS tracking number, but no info available yet. Apple email said Dec. 27.
 
New Mac Pros are Shipping!

Says delivers by Dec 30th! I ordered my stock unit about 15 mins after the online store opened with them available

The day of delivery depends on where you live. I was hoping for overnight, but it seems they are using ground.

Well, Murphy's Law, I logged in to check my order and payment could not be authorized. Don't know what's up with my debit card when there's plenty of money to cover it, but anyway. Called to give them another card and make sure everything got taken care of...they authorized my alternate form of payment and gave me a free upgrade to 1-day shipping for my trouble! Ships 30 December, delivers New Years Eve.

I ordered the stock low-end model.
 
I ordered a stock 6 core late Thursday. I too had a debit card issue and I got the issue resolved. My debit card was charged. I'm sure it'll flip to Preparing for Shipment tomorrow.
 
...and I forgot to say I ordered mine about 3:20 AM Eastern, shortly after they went on sale. For once, I picked a good time to wake up in the middle of the night. 🙂

What was the shipping date quoted when you ordered? Was it February?
 
We are talking about the delivery day. His still have not changed.

was yours a custom BTO machine to a stock one?

My iPhone 5S had a date way out and it arrived on the first day possible from the online store. (i.e the earliest possible delivery date).

Anyone sees changes in their UPS tracking? It's been over 2 days and the last status is still "departure scan". Form the News, UPS and FEDEX were swarmed and behind in deliveries.
