16Gb 13" Macbook Pro unavailable in any store in Australia, but can be ordered to arrive in a store in 10-11 days. Is this normal?
 
Yes. They do not carry BTO models in Apple stores generally. Occasionally you can find a top spec (i.e. i7 CPU, 16Gb RAM, and huge SSD) in an Apple store, but never at an authorized retailer.
