16GB RAM upgrade for MacBook Pro 17" mid 2010

Hello, the machine type is MacBook Pro 6,1. 4GB DDR3 @1067MHz in each of the two memory slots. Anybody tried the OWC 2x8GB PC8500 DDR3 1066MHz 204Pin module on this machine? Does it work fine?
