Most definitely we will see them. I suppose when is anybody's guess, but I can't see it being longer than a year. Probably sooner, but who really knows.
And everything I read says that they will support 32GB (it might just be the 2012's) but, then again, there's nothing to prove that now is there!

Yes, very likely. Just give it time. I remember buying new Dell laptops when the maximum RAM was 384MB. Someday you may look back on computers with RAM measured in GB as antiquated, with 1TB the minimum configuration.
