iPod touch 16gb wifi issue please help.

Everytime I try to log on to the internet I get a pop up that reads could not connect because it cannot find the server. This is in my office where I am next to my router with full bars and the password. Also at my girlfriends house with the password and 3 bars. At times at my own house with my password and full bars. Please help.

Don't know about your home but Touch's don't have 802.1x

All three spots run on super G.

Does it happen everytime or sporatic?

Do you have problems at local hotspots?

It may be an internet connection problem. To many variables and way over my head.

Way over my head as well. So far it is happening everytime, everywhere.

Try this:

Settings --> General -->at the bottom -->Reset --> Reset all Settings

I find that clicking on "RENEW LEASE" sometimes works. Click on the blue button next to the wifi network and you'll find it at the bottom.

not very helpful answers to be honest. my ipod seems to have a mind of its own when deciding if i'll have internet or not.
