You may have inadvertently gone in to Customise your Home Screen. Press and hold the Home Screen to evoke icons wiggle and minus signs on all Apps. Go to top left and press Edit, then select Customise. Bottom pop up to the right of screen there are two small unnamed squares, one filled, the other not. Press and the App names should reappear and the icons decrease in size. Swipe down to dismiss Customise. It’s not Beta specific. Hope this helps if this is it!
